Across the road from IKEA!
This was an older Fairfield Inn. Continental breakfast was served and was good. The rooms had microwaves and refrigerators. It was simply a nice hotel. Staff were very friendly. The location was great for our needs.

Below Average
The hotel is far back from the road, with no sign to guide one in, so getting there is tricky. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the rooms themselves are a little seedy. In the first one I stayed in, the fire alarm was out of the ceiling and went off three times in the morning. When I called to complain about the deafening noise, the receptionist asked if I had taken a shower ("sometimes they are sensitive to steam"!). The management compensated me with a gift certificate and I then moved rooms. In the next room, the bathroom facade on the front of the sink was removed, and there were no screens in two of the windows, so if I wanted fresh air, I also got flies. The showers weren’t very good and because it is an extended stay hotel, the cleaning people only come once a week. However, for the price...well, you get what you pay for.

Very Friendly Staff
We were late getting in on account of a 3 hour traffic jam in Chicago. The front desk employee was very upbeat and understanding. We had a very nice stay.
