beware of single rooms
as opposed to most hotels in which a single room is the same as a double, just billed for one person (which is what i always book when i travel for work), theirs are the rooms that used to be for the servants that came with their guests (so they told me). it’s a tiny room with a single bed that feels like the servants quarters. to their credit, when i added 40EU to upgrade to a double room & they didn’t have one available i was upgraded to a junior suite, complete with chandelier.

Luxury and professional service
Will definitely go back. Spectacular luxury at a great price from Expedia. On Piazza della Repubblica with easy metro/tram access to Centrale station, via Montenapoleone shopping, and Duomo/Galleria/la Scala area. Modern baths, luxurious comfort in rooms, quality ornate furnishings, convenient location, professional service: equals or exceeds the other, terribly expensive, 5-star hotels in town that I’ve stayed in.

Ok for the price...
Lobby was impressive, room not so much. Room was small, no artwork on walls, rather cold atmosphere and room was disappointing compared to the Westin Excelsior in Florence

Duomo and Cinacola were enough reason to visit Milano! People are beautiful and the fashion scene remarkable.
