good value, nice courtyard, lots of free parking, somewhat noisy if room faces Kingsway
Not a bad place to stay for the price! They have a decent continental breakfast. Desk staff was courteous and attentive. My room was facing Kingsway so it was a bit noisy, but I sleep like a log and didn’t mind. If you need quiet ask for a room at the back of the property. As for the neighbourhood - there are definitely a few choices besides the McDonald’s next door. The cleaning staff was friendly and did a decent job cleaning my room. I watched the groundskeeper meticulously cultivate the soil around some plants. The walkways are clean and attractive (tiled). I had some Vietnamese pho at 2 different places (up and down Kingsway) and they were both excellent. There are a few other restaurants in the area that look decent, just not much chain-wise, except for a KFC & McDonalds. #19 bus (stop is a few steps away) takes you straight downtown and as far as Stanley Park. My room had just a shower stall (no tub) but that suits me fine. If you need a bathtub you should ask for one. A fairly decent location if you are visiting BCIT.

good hotel
Good price, bathroom was small (only a shower) otherwise I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel, especially liked having a coffee maker in the room.
