wonderfully friendly hotel
I can’t tell you what a wonderful time we had at the Buccaneer. Perched on a hill outside C’sted, on an old sugar plantation, this family owned hotel has the most wonderful location and associates. The rooms were clean and well equipped, the beaches were lovely...in a word our vacation there was fantastic. There was a wedding at the old sugar mill while were there. It was lovely. I would recommend the Buccaneer to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful spot in St Croix.
Beautiful beaches. Fun to jet ski and take a trip to snorkle at Buck Island.

The service was great and the front desk did everything they could to accomodate us. This hotel is worth the 4-stars. The food was good and the breakfast buffet was great. The beach is calm on one side and for snorkling on the other. The grounds and views are beautiful. This hotel is expensive but really worth it.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Eat in Christianstad a few times or get take-out in Sangs takeout. Save some cheese and fruit from breakfast for lunch.

The place to stay when visiting St. Croix!
The hotel and grounds are very nice and well kept. House-keeping was very attentive to our needs. The taxi service used by the Buccaneer has courteous and on-time service. We were there during the annual St. Croix Ironman 70.3 Triathlon. We actually watched the race from our balcony! This was my second stay at the Buccaneer, when I entered my room I was "welcomed back" with a wine and fruit basket! How thoughtful! I would suggest everyone planning to visit St. Croix stay at the Buccaneer Resort(at least once!).

Breakfast was complimentary. Lunch and dinner can add up to quite an expense.
