Like going home (to me)

This was a great place to stay! Check-in was easy, rooms were very well maintained, and the hotel was right across the parking lot from the outlets. The only negative was the pillows - rather thin and lumpy (it took 2 to equal 1). The continental breakfast had several options to choose from. Even the homemade complementary chocolate chip cookies at the front desk were tasty.

Great place to stay

The room was clean with two queen beds and the breakfast was very good. My only complaint is the lack of water pressure in the shower. I would stay there again. It’s in a good location and an outlet shopping center is next door.

Gettysburg getaway was great!

We had a very comfartable room, 2 Q beds, for 2 couples. The location was nice, next to the outlet shopping center and TGI Friday’s. It was also away from the hustle of the downtown, but only a few minutes drive away. We would have liked to have small refrigerator and microwave, but none were in the unit. The breakfast was very pleaseant, and not too crowded. It included belgian waffles and biscuits with gravy as well.

Great Hotel and Location

After reading all of the reviews for the area hotels, I chose this one. I was extremely pleased with the accomidations. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Especially nice-enough outlets for cell phone chargers, laptops, etc. Also the bed frames were in a faux wrought iron pattern that almost gave the appearance that we were in a bed and breakfast rather than in a hotel. As for the location, we were within walking distance to an outlet center, movie theater and a quality restaurant (TGIF’s). Driving wise, we were within 5-10 minutes of all of Gettysburg’s attractions. Despite having the outlets, movies, restaurant and the highway so close, we were sheltered enough to enjoy the scenery of the area and not once did we hear any noise from the outside. This was an excellent choice of a hotel and I thank the previous reviewers for letting u know about this excellent hotel. I will definitely stay here again!

It may appear on the map that this is one of the furthest hotels from the downtown and battlefield areas. However, you are never more than a 5-10 minute drive from any of these areas.

Great Hotel. Second visit and we will stay again.

Hot Tub wasn’t working correctly. Only seemed to have one speed. Boys enjoyed the pool and workout equip/with grandfather. One love the wifi!! Breakfast enjoyable and lady doing a fantastic job keeping up with a large crowd that morning.

Good value - great location

We found this hotel met all our needs. It is maybe a mile to the entrance to the historical park and another mile or so to the town and college. It is adjacent to - but not part of - an outlet mall and movie complex. So it is close to what you want to visit but not stuck in the middle of the tourist traps. The room was fine - clean and plenty spacious. If you want a fridge, though, you will not get one in a basic room. We had to upgrade. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The included continental breakfast buffet was nothing special but sufficient to meet our needs. All in all, good value for the area.

Not impressed

The Hotel wss dirty, I turned my bed down to find hair on my pillow. When I called the front desk the rep. said that it was probably just the maids hair nothing to worry about. They took 45 minutes to come change the sheets. The following day my bathroom was not cleaned when we arrived back at the hotel nor was the floor vacumed

Great hotel for the price!

We decided to stay at this hotel because of availability and price. The location was great (right off I-15), only two miles from the Gettysburg visitor center and battlefields. The hotel staff were extremely helpful. Wireless internet did not work however they had ethernet cables at the front desk. The hotel was clean and breakfast was included. The only negatives: no refrigerator and the TV was not programmed properly. GREAT HOTEL!

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

We saved money by choosing this two star over some of the three star hotels. This hotel included a free breakfast each morning and had free parking.

Can’t beat the value

This hotel could use some updating, but the price can’t be beat for a room and breakfast. First room they put us in smelled of smoke and we asked to be moved, which they did without a problem. We only were in town one night and this hotel met our needs.

consistent hotel

My wife & I like to stay at Country Inn & Suites because they are consistent in quality and service. This hotel was conveniently located to the Gettysburg Battlefield visitor center, restaurants and an outlet center yet it was a quiet location.

Annual stopover

This is the second time that I’ve stayed at this hotel. It is the perfect place to renew your energy after a long ride. It has a pool, breakfast and is walking distance to outlet stores. What more can you ask for? A friendly helpful staff - it has it. I will be back next year.

Great place to Stay

I only stayed one night, but it was a great experience. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Staff were very kind and helpful, anticipating my question before I could ask. The only negative was the bathroom needed an air freshner due to a little musty smell. I enjoyed the shopping in the morning. It was nice not to have to check out until Noon.

I already told my friends about your hotel, how great it was, comfortable, clean, many ammenities especially the breakfast. Price was reasonalbe and we were upgraded to a suite at no charge. This is now my hotel chain.

Enjoyable

Had a wonderful,brief stay. I walked over and enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the outlets while my husband relaxed on the "front porch" Best of both worlds!!!

The motel is located at one end of the Outlets at Gettysburg. So after enjoying a day of sight-seeing, you can leave the non-shoppers to enjoy the motel, while the shoppers in the family enjoy themselves!!!!

Very friendly staff!

My family recently visited this hotel, and we enjoyed both the indoor heated pool and the hut tub. The room had pleanty of space to spread out in, and the hotel lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas, with a fire in the hearth, chocolate chip cookies to munch on, and hot drinks for us to drink! They even had books to read and return! The breakfast buffet wa wonderful! The only down side to the hotel was that the hot tub temperature was too hot, and the pool was closed for maintenance during the morning hours when the kids wanted extra swim time before checking out. But all was not lost - we decided to work out instead, and the equipment was in great shape!

This hotel was very friendly towards my kids - they had a kid-friendly breakfast, juice and cookies for them to snack on whenever they wanted, and a heated indoor pool to swim in from 6 am until 11 pm!

Great Location

This hotel is located in front of an outlet mall. I loved the convenience of being able to leave the car and walk to the shopping area. My four year old granddaughter loved swimming in the indoor pool while it was snowing outside. The staff was friendly and accomodating to all our needs. The continental breakfast was excellent in that it met the needs of my granddaughter (Belgium waffles), my eighty-two year old mother (oatmeal and fresh fruit) and me (Bagel and cream cheese).
