smelly shower curtain
We asked for a room in tower with a nice view, based on other reviews I’d read. We got one of the worst views in the hotel- partially looking into a conference room and rest of view was of a truck yard to the north, which produced constant noise from trucks and also the nearby train station. Try not to face north as it might be better on other sides. The room itself was small but ok, except for the shower curtain, which smelled like a swamp. I can’t believe the cleaning crew didn’t notice it- must be they aren’t authorized to actually fix things proactively. Once I asked the front desk to change it, they did, but really- isn’t this pretty basic hygiene?
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Absolutely loved the nearby dog sled show. The brochure promised that we would "cuddle husky pups", and they more than met our expectations. The puppies were adorable, and the show was also fun and interesting.

Great Location
Perfect location for downtown Anchorage. Great views of the city from the tower. Very clean! I would recommend!

a great night
we were very impressed with our stay at the Hilton Hotel in Anchorage Alaska. the room was very comfortable. if we could change one thing it would be that the hot tube stay open later than 11 pm
