Good hotel is you want quiet in summertime!!!
Very quiet at the hotel during the summer months. It is not their busy season. Short 1/4 mile walk down to Winter Park resort and lots of activities and things to do at Winter Park.

Great Stay
The staff was excellent and friendly. Hot tubs were nice. View was beautiful! Perfect if you’re looking for a ski-in Ski-out lodge... For the great price I recommend Iron horse to everyone!

Get a car if you want to travel anywhere in Winterpark.. There bus system does not provide good service

Great experience
Full kitchen so you can cook instead of spending money eating out every night. A little cramped because the bed folds out from the wall, but we just had our 6 year old sleep on the couch without unfolding it. Shuttle bus and ski shop were very convenient. Spent more time in the pool and hot tub than on skis...
