The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples

Pleasantly surprised!

We had only 2 nights to stay in Naples on our way to Miami. Having checked Expedia reviews i must admit this hotel is THE best kept secret! Impressive, friendly staff, beautiful rooms. The best gem is that you can use the sister hotel at the beach for free!

This hotel has it all

If you travel in the off season this is one of the best deals in Naples. This was our second time there and there have been changes made due to the economy that made this stay not quite as fun as the first. Be sure to rent a car as there are many great restaurants near by. With onsite golf and the beach 10 minutes away this is the perfect location to have it all.

Great experience. Has shuttle two times an hour to the Ritz-Carlton Beach Hotel. Near shopping and restaurants.

The Naples Ritz Carlton Golf Resort was outstanding! Great service and food! The best of both worlds, very quiet at the Golf Resort but full easy access to the Beach Resort.

What a relaxing place!

This is a great place to go to relax! It is in the newer section of Naples with not much development nor traffic. A shuttle bus ride or cab or short car ride to the beach. Superb service, especially at the pool.

Enough to satisfy everyone....the have a beach, a spa and golf...who couldn’t be happy in Naples. The service is impeccable and the staff is so nice...just relax and enjoy every moment.

Impressive for Florida

The resort offers a lot of options because staying at the Golf Resort always unlimited access to the beach resort. The shuttle running between locations was very convenient.

We had a great stay - the hotel and the staff exceeded expectations every day and we couldn’t have asked for a better time.

Good value for a Ritz

This hotel is a good option especially since guests here have full access to the nearby Ritz Carlton Beach Resort. Our room was comfortable and bathroom was spacious.

The USS Nemo on Highway 41 is a great place for seafood. Downtown Naples (30 minute drive) has a good people-watching scene but the restaurants there are overpriced.

Not The Best Ritz I’ve ever Stayed at

Room and grounds were nice and pretty clean and well maintained and all that, but the service was just not up to Ritz standards. 1. There were not nearly enough chaise lounges or towels by the pool, so we spent 3 hours d w/ just one towel apiece btwn us and the hard surface around the pool. 2. We tried to cancel a babysitter we had arranged for through the concierge 5 hours and 52 minutes before the time she was due and the concierge said there was a 6-hr cancellation policy. Since the concierge couldn’t get us a restaurant reservation anywhere or warn us to buy our movie tickets well in advance, we ended up with a babysitter, no restaurant and 10 sold out movies when we got to the theater. So we were stuck going back to the Ritz lounge for a pair of very mediocre $18 chicken club sandwiches and if you add the price of the babysitter, by the time it was all said an done, we were looking at a lousy night out for $200. 3. Other big negative was that the Christmas morning buffet was cleared out 5 minutes after we were seated. If they’re not going to keep the buffet out, why in the world would they seat us? There was no orange juice left and only cold scramble eggs with no toast---THAT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING! I meant to complain about it, but then I enjoyed the rest of my day out and about and didn’t bother.

Don’t expect red carpet treatment, if you have kids.

GREAT RITZ CARLTON HOTEL AND LOCATION

We stayed at this Naples location since the beach club was booked. I would choose this first next time. The hotel and grounds are immaculate offering a serene setting 5 minutes from downtown Naples. The service is great and the hotel is outstanding with all available amenities.

One of the nicest hotels we have visited. The service and the accomodations were excellent. Hotel employees were always happy to help and serve to make our stay great.

Great Hotel at Naples

Excellent choice for a relax weekend! The staff is very kind and the room was immaculate and comfortable. All our requests were fulfilled. Our recommendation is to eat outside the hotel... better quality and better price for the food. The beach at Naples Ritz Hotel is a paradise! they have free transportation from the Golf resort. The hotel provide complementary service at the beach. Don’t hesitate to go to this hotel, we really enjoyed it!

Hotel was fabulous, concierge was spot on with the recommendations, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The best part of staying here is that you can enjoy all the amenities of the Naples Ritz on the Gulf.

Luxury at a Great Price

We love the Ritz Carlton-Golf Resort in Naples. My husband and I try to go every year since we moved down to Florida. You get full access and amenities of the Beach Resort so it can not be beat. Everyone is just so nice at both resorts and you really feel at home! It is such luxury at great rates!

Found a wonderful LOCAL place for interesting breakfast... KETTLE’S The menu has very interesting choices and is priced for local dining (not tourist $$$$’s).

Unbelievable Hotel!!

This has to be the best hotel we’ve stayed at. Since the moment we entered the hotel until we checked out, the service was unbelievable!! The room was huge, the amenities were beautiful and the people were unbelievable nice. No matter what you asked for, everyone was extremely friendly and would go out of their way to make your experience there one of a kind! I can’t say enough great things about the hotel. If we go back to Naples, this is where we’ll be staying again and again!

You could probably find something better in Naples

I cant believe the Ritz has so many problems, maybe I caught them on a bad week, but the sheets and pillow cases were stained at least 2 days out of the 4 nights I stayed. The room had a faulty Tv remote which was replaced right away, then the hair dryer didnt work and was replaced twice. On my last day the sliding patio door stopped sliding so I could enjoy my view and I didnt have the patience to have a repair guy come up and stay with me in the room to fix it, nor did I want to change rooms at that point. Ok so I dined at their famous Lemonia restaurant and had to wait 45 min for my table. I figured it was worth the wait but the food was horrible. I sent the prosuitto chicken back and the chef agreed it was awful, so they credited my bill. I am not a very demanding person at all and I cant believe how sad my experience was at such a 5 star hotel, but maybe it was just the management at this particular Ritz Carlton. I m not sure if anyone else should take a chance.

The best part of the stay was the option to use all the ammenities at both hotels in Naples.

Nice hotel w/great golf course....

Hotel service and common areas were Ritz-quality, but the room was only so-so. The hotel seemed almost empty as this was the slowest time of year, yet there was a faint smell of cigarette smoke in the non-smoking room and stains on the carpet. The bed was very comfortable. If I had paid full rate for the room I would have been disappointed, but at 40% off it was still a value.

There are numerous excellent restaurants within a 2 mile radius of the hotel--if you like wine with your meal, try Flemings just a mile or so away on US41n. They have excellent food and an extensive wine list, available by the glass or bottle.
