Wonderful beaches and quiet
By staying at one Divi resort, you have access to all Divi resorts. This is a great perk! Divi Dutch has large studio rooms with kitchen...handy. And three grocery stores within walking distance! On bus route, so grab a bus to high rise action or the city. Concierge could be friendlier. Funny, this people person position should have a more pleasing, helput staff member in charge. Overall, very good experience at Divi Resorts.
Traveler's tip
Heard ABC tours was a good company per local taxi driver. You dont have to change your American dollars. Accepted everywhere. Just get change in U.S. dollars. Buses are reliable and cheap. Buy tickets on board.

Beautiful Beach
From our room,we had a partial view of the ocean. The beach is beautiful, crystal clear warm water. I would definitely recommend this resort.

First Time to Aruba
My girlfriend and I were extremely pleased with our stay at the Divi Dutch Village in Aruba during the least week in August. The room was simple, nothing "fancy", but was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we were looking for. The room did show a little wear and tear, but nothing that detracted from our stay. The kitchen allowed us to cook most of (ok, all of) our meals in the room, which we loved. There was a decent selection of channels on the television though the periodic notices that popped up on HBO and Cinemax about cable service expiring were a little annoying. The AC was good and I did not notice any problems with condensation. The one thing I found most lacking was a vent fan in the bathroom. Often after taking a shower it was so hot and humid in the bathroom that it was impossible to dry off :) Housekeeping service was good, when we wanted it, and overall the staff of the hotel were great.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
We definitely saved a fair amount of money buy buying groceries at Hong King market just down the street from the hotel. A very good supply of a wide variety of items. One thing to keep in mind is that when doing any sort of cooking, even just making toast, be sure to turn the range hood fan on or you will set the smoke detector off.
