going downhill
I have stayed at this property many times before and while it was never anything to brag about, it was a good value. My most recent stay was rather disapointing. The corridors were dirty and there was an unpleasant odor throughout. The room was generally clean (albeit dusty) and the young lady at the desk was curteous and friendly. Sadly as the quality of the property has declined, the room rate has gone up by almost 50%. Is it any wonder why the place was nearly empty. Given the lack of competition in DeKalb I will likly continue to stay at The Baymont Inn, location, location, location!

Baymont a little buggy
Our recent stay @ Baymont Inn in DeKalb was horrible, and I hope I don’t ever have to stay there again. The room was swarming with knats, it took us hours to try to kill most of them. The floors were so filthy that I would not walk on them bare feet. The bathroom however was reasonably clean, except for dead knats. Would I stay again? Only if there was no where else to stay.

not impressed
Breakfast was a joke. Waffle maker undercooked waffles, juice machine empty, rotton boiled eggs, fruit was old.
