Great Location - Unappealing Design, Layout and Service
This hotel is very convenient for business in Uptown Charlotte, but the lobby, hallways, parking garage, and overall logistics of the place are terrible. If you are a single female business traveler I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Go to the Westin, a few block away but much nicer. The rooms have that "old hotel" smell, and the AC is ancient! To get to the hotel from the garage requires a whole lotta logistics, 2 elevators, and NO BELLHOPS to help you. For the price, I think this place is a ripoff and is relying on it’s location for repeat business. Oh, and the service, or lack of, feels more like a Walmart. Completely indifferent, untrained. Not rude, just clueless.

Love the Location
I’ve stayed at this hotel on two different occaions and i really enjoyed myself. The location is great and the empolyees are amazing.
