NOT CONDUCIVE FOR EARLY FLIGHTS FROM GATWICK
Hotel was fine - however, too far from Gatwick airport. No shuttle available from/to hotel early mornings or late evenings. Staff were very friendly and helpful. However no elevator - which is problematic - if you have heavy bags.

The nice price offsets a few problems
Overall, a good place to stay. Quiet and in a nice neighborhood. I appreciated the free shuttle service to Gatwick (that saved us quite a bit over hotels near Heathrow). One downside: there is no payphone available onsite (though their room information says there is) and the room phones are locked down or something. Nearest one is about 2 km away in downtown Horley.

a pleasant experience
This hotel was nicely renovated and comfortable. The room was clean but I would caution management to pay closer attention to housekeeping, especially in the bathroom, if it wants to maintain it’s appeal over the long term
