Great stay
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Ritz for her birthday on the club level. FREE DRINKS, great food, good service. Everything you expect from the Ritz!

Excellent Hotel!
This hotel is excellent, greeted by name, most comfortable bed, and great hospitality. Needed super glue at 3am and they sent some up right away!

Battery Park stay
The Ritz Carlton in Battery Park is a very nice hotel with great service from doormen, receptionist, housekeeping, waitstaff. It has a fabulous view of the harbor and it is quiet in that part of Manhattan. The commute to restaurants, museums, shops, and the theatre is quite far and it was difficult to get a cab on a rainy night. The construction near the hotel is another drawback but the spaciousness and amenities of the room make up for it.

Luxury at it’s best!
The Ritz hotel was a perfect experience to mix both business and pleasure in NYC. The bedding was so amazing that you slept extremely well sine I usually do not sleep well in hotels. The entire staff was welcoming, helpful, and accommodating with a smile. The concierge was knowledgeable about restaurants in the area but be sure to quantify how long it takes to WALK from the hotel to your distantation. New Yorkers walk everyday and many travelers are not ready for the 3 mile trek. Best experience so far in NYC.

The Beautiful Room with A View
It was the most wonderful vacations i have had in my life! The view of the statue of liberty. The whole trip was wonderful.

Great views and great location
We visited in October 2009 for a long weekend. The hotel is newly renovated and everything was great. The staff was pleasant and very helpful answering questions and making suggestions.

It is greatest I love. Indeed I love we can overview from the window and look the beautiful ocean. and in the morning we can have a good breakfast outside and beside the park there a good resturant and Mini market.After meal,We can walk around the park.I love this hotel a lots.Check in today by yourself.

Great location and great service
The hotel , as you would expect from Ritz-Carlton, was of the highest quality. The room was very clean, comfortable and well designed although a little small. Great location next to Battery Park. A tip: Use the concierge who gave us excellent advice and guidance.

comfort in metropolis
a newer property with many amenities. We upgraded from city view to harbor view that was a treat and also were treated to club level access with the lounge. I would recommend that because the complimentary food and drinks were very nice. The harbor view overlooking Battery Park and the Statue of Liberty was very nice. Our bed was about as comfortable as it gets.

Get a room overlooking the harbor!
Girl’s Getaway Weekend and we could not have chosen a better place. The staff were amazing - (especially Andrew at the front desk) We had a room looking out at the Statue of Libery and Ellis Island - beautiful Don’t miss the Sunday Breakfast Buffet - It was superb. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a great Hotel. Beautiful view and area. BUT... there is not much right around the hotel. The subway is a very short walk so we did use that a lot.

The best service ever!!!
I have never experienced the quality of service that the staff at the Ritz Carlton. I work in hospitality and I was very impress. The room was great, very clean and beautiful. I would like to thanks Raquel and David at concierge desk and Manny and Kevin at the bar for an unforgettable experience. I would come back. I know that the location is far for the most attractions but you can get anywhere on subway just in 15 min. Thank you again for everything!!!

Will stay here again!
We typically stay uptown close to Times Square. We wanted a less hectic area to stay this time. What a great choice we made. The view of The Statue of Liberty from our window was worth the upgrade.

Location, Location, Location
We were not at all disappointed by this gorgeous hotel, the lovely rooms and impeccable service, but we were delighted to discover how beautiful the residential Battery Park neighborhood is. At the very tip of Manhattan, our room overlooked the harbor and even had its own telescope which our bellman promptly adjusted to my daughter’s height and focused on the gleaming Statue of Liberty. There is a wonderful walking park right along the river with lovingly-maintained gardens and scenic overlooks. Subway lines from Battery Park go to all parts of the city, making attractions readily accessible. There is even a double-decker tour bus entry point nearby, as well as the Staten Island ferry terminal, a great way to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island absolutely free. The hotel restaurant was a bit pricey for us, but a nearby Starbucks got us going in the morning and off on our adventures. This hotel and its location are worth every penny.

lovely hotel
Very nice hotel, would stay again and recommend it to others. The only complaint I had was the amount of noise I could hear from the other rooms, not sure if the walls were thin or if the folks on the other side were just loud.

MEDIOCRE
The Ritz Carlton in Battery Park was just okay, the service was average. It wasn’t as modern as most and the sitting area wasn’t as comfortable as most others. I guess it was okay but not the top of the line. I’ve stayed in better. My bedding smelled like mildew I asked for a change and it still was a bit stinky but overall it was okay it was great to be across from Batter Park a lot of acctivities there and please go and eat at a place just down the street called Zandra or something like that it has great food and the prices are very reasonable. Just ask the Bellmen it’s down the street. Great sandwiches and coffee and breakfast items.

Be sure to go to the Blue Note night club if you like Jazz. It’s easy to get to on the subway.

The Ritz Name is Synonymous with Ultimate Quality
Each time we stay in NY, we try to stay at another part of Manhattan, our only request is quality hotel and service. The Ritz on Battery Park is the ultimate hotel for quality room and service. I reccommend this hotel to anyone who has is used to that type of quality. Please stay on the executive floor. The daily choices of food and drink will have you rushing back to the hotel.

Excellent location
This hotel is uniquely located for tourists.It’s proximity to Ellis island ferry terminal and the ability to join city tour buses at their Battery park stop is just perfect. For this brand name hotel, I expected at least complimentary in-room coffee but was disappointed. The view of Battery park and Statue of Liberty compensates for any shortcomings
Purchase your tickets to the tourist locations(Ellis Island,museums etc)online ahead of your visit. It saves time and saves your family from disappointment.

Fringe Festival and the Ritz Charlton
We came to see Citzen Ruth as part of the Fringe Festival - great play and wonderful hotel! We were upgraded to a Harbor View room -we could see the Statue of Liberty from our room. The staff from Reception, Concierge, Bell Men (all very nice) to the housekeeper were all friendly, and helpful (but not overly attentive - which I like). Battery Park is on the lower end of Manhattan so we took taxis most places but the room, view, service, and calm atmosphere were definate advantages.

Next year go the Fringe Festival and also DeSanto’s restaurant (West Village) was wonderful.
