would do it again

the vacation house we stayed in was wonderful we had plenty of rooms for our kids it was very homey and cozy loved that they had child safety on the pool balconey we rented a grill real cheap wonderful price it was close to everything we were in a great part of a community called indian ridge was very quiet which we arent use to us new york folks anyway we will recommend this vacation home service its the best i ever did on vacation its better than a hotel especially staying more than 7 days.the only thing they didnt have a broom and mop for us to clean spills had to buy one.otherwise this service is strongly recommended

buy what you r going to use we had a lot of extra food left or less if u have family to give it away to.publix or super target is the best 2 stores that are surrounded by the homes very easy to get too.

Awesome getaway

We were very happy with our vacation home rental located at 739 Downing Circle.We had a large group,and it was the perfect size for us.The kids loved the pool,and would sometimes just want to hang out there.We will definately use Advantage when we return next year.

It was nice

I enjoyed the house. It was nice to have a home away from home. We saved money eating breakfast at the house even dinner a few times. The pool was very cold, but once we jumped in the warm air made the pool great. We will stay next time we go to Florida.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

Use the kitchen and do a litle cooking, or get some frozen pizza for the kids. This will save you alot of money.

We enjoyed our stay. We had a 4 br house with a pool. The kids enjoyed the pool (the chlorine or whatever chemical they put was a little too strong.) the house was clean,very nice decor. walmart is about 2 miles away very convenient area not too far from highways either. I can do this again with my family, saved us a lot of money.we stayed for 5 day and we split the bill 3 ways not bad at all.

Seaworld is worth your money. We enjoyed every bit of it, eventhough it was 99 degrees outside. Shamuu "believe" was great! it’s a must see. Kids enjoyed it more than Disney world. Make sure you stay for more than a week there’s so much to do and see in Orlando.

Was too small

My stay at advantage vacation homes was alright, but I wasn’t really satisfied on how the house was it was a little small, and after arrival we went to check out the pool, and we found a leach in the pool, and the master bedroom fan was broken. And when you would close the bedroom doors they would stick like you were locked in the room.

The good thing about being at the house was there was dining and grocery stores nearby.

The place was perfect for our group of 10. The accomadations were immaculate. It offered the perfect relaxation point after busy days at the park. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

Never, Never, Never going back to Advantage Homes

My sisters and I booked 2 homes with Advantage Homes...We were extremely disappointed when we got to the homes...The bedding it appears had never been washed..It had actual body odor on the covers..We had to strip down the beds and wash the comforters, sheets and pillow cases..I never unpacked my suitcase...When we complained to the office staff, they were rude and unprofessional..We booked and paid for luxury homes and these homes were anything "But"..nothing worked..The garbage disposal did not work..the tub was filthy in the master bedroom..We went into the office the next morning to request different homes and was told that there was nothing they could do to accomodate us..While in the office, at least 4 different tenants came in to complain about the same thing. The office staff seemed to be used to these types of complaints and all the person at the desk would say is "I will let my manager know"..Not once did she say I am sorry or Let me see what I can do...This is so far the worst customer service or the lack thereof that I have ever experienced in my life...I vacation 3 to 4 times a year..I will go back to Orlando but I will never again book with Advantage Vacation Homes.

Beware Hidden Charges

The house was not bad but they charge you $250.00 for a deposit on your card and they refund it in 14 days. Also, they charge you for a cleaning fee even though no cleaning is done while you stay there. Other Villas and house don’t have this charge and they don’t hold your money for 14 days.

Needs a little work

The overall stay was nice and the place was very clean. The pool heater was broke and couldnot get anyone to fix it in the week we were there. The staff was not very friendly, like you would think people would be in a very high trafficed vacation place.

Some Challenges

Home not ready at check in...switched to another home in the evening. No iron, TV remote...when asked to replace staff difficult to work with. Carpet in bedroom soiled. Directions provided from office to home not accurate.

Home away from home

The home was magnificent! All the comforts of home,the neighnorhood was very nice,clean and quiet. Had slight problem with pool heater which rental agency did not help with at all, had to take matter into our own hands and figure outh the problem ourselves. (the outside braker had shut off).but the stay and trip was great, would definately do it again!

NOT IMPRESSED

Not impressed. We paid for the pool heat. Eventhough the heater did not work, we were not refunded our money. The furnace did not work in the house. It took four days for them to fix they shower in the main bathroom. The dryer burned a load of wash. They did nothing about it. Our stay was not very comfortable due to the house we stayed in.

Advantage Vacation Home -Kissimmee, FL

The vacation home worked very well for our family of five. The home was in a great location to all the theme parks, grocery, souvenir and convenience stores. The rooms were very clean and it was nice to have the comforts of home, extra bathrooms and bedrooms, washer & dryer and full kitchen. However, some of the electrical devices needed to be serviced or updated, the DVD players did not work, nor the coffee pot (yikes). The pool needed cleaning, this put somewhat of a damper on the trip. Overall the experience was enjoyable and I would certainly do it again. I would suggest if you plan to stay in one of these homes make sure you call ahead of time and ask that the property be serviced for these types of things before you arrive. And ask the management company about any additional fees that will need to be paid upon your arrival.

Advantage Vacation Homes - Great Value, Wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful experience. We checked in at the main office location of Advantage Vacation Homes the staff was friendly and the check-in process was quick. The home was about 5 to 10 minutes away and directions were provided. Upon arrival we found the home to be in beautiful condition, clean and very spacious. The attached screen in pool and pool area were very clean as well and we used it daily. The washer and dryer came in handy and we didn’t need to pack all that much as we could wash and go. The parks were about 20- 25 minutes away with the traffic pattern. Many nice places to eat nearby - over all a great experience and much better than a hotel!

Our home away from home

Knowing how life should be, members of our local resort-style country club, we know first hand what true living is like! The only complaint that our group had was that we called in a "work-order" through maintenance, which was never fulfilled; other than that, the house was in tip-top shape! The pool was amazing, the beds were all clean and comfortable and there was enough showers for everyone. Last but not least, a place that finally gives their guests plenty of towels! Overall we were all very pleased, not the Ritz-Carlton, but we would definately go back!

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Things to ponder when booking through Advantage Vacation Homes: 1. A fee for cleaning DOES apply and is not listed in the terms & conditions and is not negotiable. (around $90) 2. Your drive will be around 15 minutes to everything, but is well worth all of the space that you get with a vacation home. 3. Most homes, even though the website claims that this is in place in most of "all homes" do not have Wi-Fi!

Way Better Than Staying in a Hotel Room

In our years traveling with 3 kids, we had always booked hotel rooms or "suites", which ended up cramming extra beds into a regular hotel room by subdividing the room into a kid zone and adult zone. Since we are traveling with a small child, it was hard to relax after we returned from our excursions. Renting the house allowed everyone to get their own room, some even equipped with TVs, so that the toddler could go to sleep without issues and the rest could still enjoy a quiet evening before going to bed. I’m definitely hooked, especially considering that we didn’t pay much more than for an actual suite hotel room and significantly less than in a Disney Resort Hotel.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Renting the house allowed us to stock the refridgerator and prepare meals, which saved us a bundle. During our Disney excursions, we retreated back to the house in the afternoon to cool off in the pool and have lunch, then returned refreshed in the evenings to the parks.

Carpet in the House

It was a house and it was very confortable. We had a problem with A/C and they change us to another house which was much better that they gave us when we arrived. Next time I wish they give us the same house. It was perfect with the pool and without carpet. The first house had carpet adn we do not really like it, but overall was good. Thanks,

It was nice place and quiet area best of all easy access to all places and clean area. All the room were great and clean, defenitely I recommended.

Great Stay!!

The advantage home we stayed in was beautiful!When we got there everything was ready for us. It had its own pool which was super nice!It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. It was stocked with paper products some coffee and plenty of towels. It was very clean. I do not recommend calling ahead to find out which property you are in though. Ours was changed by the time we got there due to a water problem in the original home we thought we would be staying in. It was fine though because the home we stayed in was very well equiped and stocked. It did not have a hottub like the original home we thought we were staying in and they did apologize that it had to be switched. The front desk lady was very nice and gave my kids free floats for the pool which I thought was very nice. I wish I had they’re cleaning service at home. It was spotless, and they even did the fancy folding with the towels just like the upscale hotels. They had an iron, coffee maker, shampoo, soaps, and hairdyer so do not pack these items! They also had a starter pack of dish soap, washing powders, trashbags, paprtowels, and toiletpaper so you do not have to run out to the store the first night. I highly recommend this place. I was extremely impressed with the home we stayed in. 15 mins to Disney Universal and Seaworld.

We went with my son who is autistic, if you are traveling with a special needs person- go to the parks visit the Guest relations desk at each park, and let them know if you are traveling with a person with special needs. They each gave our family special attention to make our stay great and reduced they extremely long waits at the attractions. They were great and our stay was wonderful!

not impress

house was not what expected. there were nats in the house. call for maintance but they never came out. i asked for a manger to call me,iwas there for 5 days never recieved a call. the bfront office was not friendly when icall about the problem , iwas told by them by it being a weekend, iwould have to pay 75.00 for maintance to come inand spray.ihad just check in.
