So so
The person in reception said there were no free parking in Whistler village and that I should use the $15 garage for the hotel. This was not true less than 200 m there were free overnight parking.

Great Location, Minimalist Service & Room Quality
For the price, and the location, this was a good value. The front desk service was noticeably absent at times, and given that the location is in a high traffic area there is understandably significant security but without a staffer there this can be a little frustrating with the magnetic card reader to enter / exit the property.
Traveler's tip on dining
For breakfast, if you want the absolutely best and most wonderful breakfast you have had and want it served in style, go to Crepe Montagne right across the street. Dont let a short line deter you, the service is fast and friendly (its not great for large groups-more than 4-people though, as its a small French-style creperie). This was the best breakfast / brunch Ive ever had with the most wonderful (English-speaking French) service in Whistler.

Poor Quality
Nowhere was it mentioned prior to booking that there is actually no staff at the front desk. Upon arriving, we found a note telling us to go to another hotel to check in. Arriving there, there was another note telling us to go to yet a third hotel and check in. Being from out of town and not knowing the area, it was quite a pain locating and traveling to all the different hotels. Upon checking in I was told that I had to leave a $250 security deposit. This was also never mentioned earlier. Once checked in, we were told that we would have to pay for parking. So arriving at the parking garage, Iwe discovered the the keys we were given did not work. So, back to the hotel we checked in at, and after a couple of new keys, and back to the garage, we find out that parking is higher priced than we were told by the hotel staff. So after that we arrive at the room to find on the balcony an enormous amount of beer cans and Vodka bottles that were never picked up from the previous occupants. Also, the room was listed as having a queen bed, which it did, but failed to mention that it was a murphy bed that was basically falling apart. We were very dissatisfied with this hotel.
