I didn’t want to go home
This hotel has a perfect location for access to subways to Manhattan, as well as the best of Brooklyn. It’s so quiet, it’s hard to imagine that it’s in the city that never sleeps.
After the children have enjoyed the hotel pool, ask the staff about the wonderful parks and playgrounds in walking distance of the hotel

In the Heart of the Heights
I love Brooklyn Heights and the Marriott is the only proper hotel in the immediate area. The staff was courteous and quick to respond to customer needs, the rooms small (but it is NYC) and came with a tiny fridge. There was no noise where we stayed and our room overlooked the back of a building. I would have preferred that they offer a free breakfast, free paper and free wireless. Wireless was available in the lobby for free, but in-room would have been more convenient.
Traveler's tip on dining
On Montague Street which is a 5 minute walk away there is excellent dining on either side of the street....especially Thai food.
