It’s wierd hotel. The decoration is scandalous.
The building is not that bad, but the decoration was done by someone with worst taste possible. The food is terrible, and the service sucks. The surrounding area is not the best either.

very small space for parking when check-in and out. too slow process check-in and out at desk... every early morning start noise some drowing water... so horrible

Good Business hotel for Mexico City - not great location for tourism
Fine hotel - clean, well managed, good restaurant and room service. I recomend the hotel for business trips, but not for leisure travel just because the location is nto great for walking around, few nearby restaurants and sights.

Nice hotel but expensive prices
All the hotel is OK but the prices of the services (restaurant, business center, etc) are very expensive. I don’t believe single orange juice cost $50 pesos.

Book Transportation Ahead
Overall a good experience, one problem that I had was that I contracted a tourist driver w/ vehicle (through the hotel)and I was quoted a rate and after service was rendered I was charged a higer rate. everything else was good.

Not To Bad
The stay at the hotel was great. The only problem that I had was at the front desk. I had to wait a long time to check in and a long time to check out. Other than that the stay was excellent. The staff in the resturant made dinning fantastic. They really impressmed to say the least.

Some minor details
Personnel from the hotel intended to charge me $50.00 for walking in with a bottle of water. I was told I was not allow to bring in any outside food. These kind of issues leave a sour taste.

NICE HOTEL IN CHAPULTEPEC AREA
IMy best friend and I spent 4 nights in this hotel because i was travelint to Mexico City to see Alejandro Fernandez’s Concert, and the event was in the Auditorio Nacional, so this hotel was a good option tos stay in, it was a walking distance fron the Auditorio an in the middle of Chapultepec Park. Our room had a wonderful view of Chapultepec Park and Castle. The hotel service was fine, our room was spacious and the bathroom was very tidy, The beds and pillows were excellents and the breakfast in the hotel was nice too, a little expensive, but food. If I return to Mexico City this hotel would be one of my main options to stay in.
Traveler's tip on dining
A walking distance from the hotel you can enjoy Tony Romas, famous for it’s ribs and and also about a 20 minutes walk right by Paseo de la Reforma you can dine in Hard Rock Cafe; there’s also a seven eleven 2 blocks from the hotel for breakfast or afternoon snacks.

Nice but kind of a rip-off!
I arrived at the hotel just at the end of the AIDS conference and was charged an excessive amount for a room that overlooked a parking lot and a vacant lot filled with trash. After much complaining, I was moved to a room overlooking the park. There is an outrageous charge for everything. $25/day for internet access was irritating. Every request I made at the front desk was ignored or forgotten. Location to the park and museums is great, but the location is sandwiched between many busy and impossible-to-cross streets, making walking anywhere else very difficult.

Park View Excellent!
From the 11th floor the views of the Castillo, Auditorio Nacional and Museo de Antropologia inside Chapultepec Park were fabulous and calming. It’s close to Polanco and Avenida Reforma but watch for traffic! many local restaurants within walking distance and cab rides are $1.50 - $2.00 USD. Staff very courteous and efficient. Only annoyance was the magnetic room key - it had to be reloaded about twice per day. Late August is rainy season and Hotel staff provided umbrellas for emergency purposes. Room layout is different from USA hotels but very elegant and fresh, clean. Bathroom & tub very comfortable with all the necessities: magnifying mirror, hair dryer etc.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Three types of taxis wait outside the hotel: Luxury with drivers in suits are most expensive -ask before you hire. VW’s are the cheapest and use meter.
