No Frills Hotel at FossHotel Lind
If you are seeing Iceland on a budget, Fosshotel Lind is for you. Its very convenient to the main shopping area and Flybus will drop you off right at the front door. However, a fancy hotel this is not. Like many of the tourist hotels in Europe, it is very small with tiny tiny bathrooms. We arrived on an early flight and was at the hotel by 9AM, so the staff allowed us to store our bags until the room was ready. However, the room was a smoking room - the only one they had available even though we had requested non. Again, if on a budget, Fosshotel Lind is great, but if you can afford it, there are many other options.
