prettt basic
Courtyard by Mariott, Sugarland was OK, pretty basic. Hte breakfast buffet was good but didn’t open until 8am. Will try another hotel next time we’re in town.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Drove to Kemah,which was a lot of fun, definitely would recommend it. Lots of rides for the kids and good restaurants.

Not worthy of the Marriott brand name
This hotel was below "sub-par." The condition of the room was awful - cracked window, old, jacuzzi-eyesore in the middle of the bedroom. The quality of the room was not consistent with my past experience with Courtyard hotels. The only saving grace to this hotel is the staff, which was exemplary. Extremely friendly, courteous and willing to help.

Don’t look for fine dining in this area - the only eating establishments nearby are generic, chain restaurants.

it was ok
the room was clean, staff was nice. but the second night we had one bed bug, yup just one, i inspected the whole bed after finding it. even if there was just one, i was pretty freaked and then when we asked for new sheets they didn’t have any that fit the bed and it was kinda late b/c we were out all day, so they didnt have another room. my skin was crawling after that and didnt make me feel so great about sleeping in the bed.
