Ask for newer room!
We went to NC for dream Duke trip, and found the orginal room, gross! It had several dead flies in kitchen light, eveything seemed sticky in kitchen, and very old room. We were swtiched to updated room, which was much nicer, but drawers on dresser were completely broken. So all in all, not a very nice hotel. But very nice people helping us!
