I had a wonderful room and delicious food -- no kidding!!!
I had a great room and had great service. My room service was really quick and the food was simply "outstanding." I would come again in a heartbeat!!

Perfectly fine
The hotel is a fairly new creation, located in the southern Cleveland suburb of Independence. Independence is really a tasteless collection of office parks, wide six lane roads, and every chain restaurant imaginable. It lays directly south of a finally improving downtown Cleveland. Cleveland is a great city, though Independence really seems to be the type of sad development created by white flight across the United States. The Embassy Suites is a fine hotel, perhaps the rooms are beginning to show their age. They are perfectly maintained and have new televisions, though it had a definitively 90’s feel to the place. Good value, clean, safe, a fine place to spend the night while traveling cross country.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Cleveland is an extraordinary city of restaurants, bars, shops, and great architecture. It has a culture of its own. Get Downtown or over to University Circle and embrace it. You want a good burger? Go over to Melt in Lakewood and stick to the Chili’s back home.
