Great hotel and people, will definitely be back

We had a great experience overall. Jan met us and checked us in - she was wonderful and exceeded all expectations. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. And the prices were very reasonable for such a nice place to stay. It is only 2 minutes to Uptown Sedona, which was nice - easy access without the noise and traffic of being right in the middle of town.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

If you’re going to do a tour (which I think wouldbe great for anyone) skip the Pink Jeeps they’re just a name and over rated. go to Jeep Safaris and ask for Gene - great guide and wonderful person. Go to Coffee Pot cafe for breakfast - great food (large portions) and affordable. Basha’s market has great food and wine to fill up you little fig with. Lastly, go to the airport road for the beautiful sunsets.

Sleep number bed...ouch!

We stayed at this hotel one year ago and were quite impressed. We were excited to come back, but this stay was quite different. We requested a top-level room with a view and got a bottom level room with a view of the ice machine. They did switch us rooms to one with a semi-view. The sleep number bed, which they are so proud of, was awful! I woke up with a sore back; maybe I just couldn’t figure out my "number". Last time, we slept on a regular mattress and it was much better.

A relaxing place to recharge

Spent one night at this hotel/resort, wish it could have been more. Except for the road construction going on outside, it was a very serene environment. Occupancy was low, so it was not crowded at the pool or in the restaurant and we got a great rate on the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got upgraded to a room with an in-room spa, which was very nice except that the switch for the spa was not close enough to the tub to reach, meaning that I had to get out to turn it off and sprayed water all over the room. Otherwise, very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

Property is well positioned, a short drive to red rock hikes and and shopping and dining in Sedona.

Wonderful Place

Even though this place is a bit outside of central Sedona, it’s worth it’s price; Nice spacious golf course on one side of the room, swimming pool on the other. Very clean overall, A/C worked beautifully and was quiet (in August). The best of this hotel is the big veranda overlooking the golf course, the fountains and the flowers/greenery (famous red rocks nearly hidden but visible), where breakfast and dinner are served. No gourmet food but exceptionally well prepared and well tasting with a reasonably good wine list. A place to return to.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Get good advice from the local travel bureau what the famous places are to visit, to see the phantastic rock formations, and to experience the "celestial energies" coming down in those "vortexes". A unique place indeed.

Radisson Poco Diablo Resort Sedona, AZ

Resort was great. Off the beaten path of Hwy 89A. Construction on Hwy 179 is a real problem now, but usually limited to early morning and early evening. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with ideas for dining and activities.

Great room, great service

Nothing to really complain about this place. The view could’ve been nicer but that’s about it. A very comfortable room. Great sleep number beds, mini fridge, excellent shower, perfect for a long day of hiking.

Traveler's tip on dining

Look for Cuisine of India if you’re looking for Indian food.

Nice clean hotel. Recently remodeled. Everything was great, except we did not care for the sleep number bed. Great views. Friendly staff. We would go back.

Great place to stay in Sedona

I stayed here in 2006, and it has improved 100%. The rooms are very nicely appointed, and I love the Sleep Number beds. The restaurant is now very good, and the staff is great. I will definitely stay here again!

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Make sure to go to the creek on the property, it’s beautiful (bring water shoes).

Should imrpove in concierge services

The Hotel Concierge on duty attempted to discourage us to go to Flagstaff Arizona claiming that if we are not fluent in Navajo it was not the place for tourists, we consulted with other Business and Commerce people and they did provide true guidance; we had a great time in Flagg. When we checked out we informed the front desk officer of this experience with the Concierge.

Relaxing Weekend

We looked at several different Resorts in the Sedona area & finally chose this one. We were very satisfied. Even though this is an older Golf Resort it is well kept up & our room had a rear patio facing the Golf course & the pool was only a few steps from our front door. We stayed two nights & were wishing for one more by Sunday. We enjoyed the beautiful greens, (lots of friendly ducks & squirrel’s), & access to Oak creek with picnic tables in the shade of large sycamore’s. At night we walked the golf course & found many large frogs around the ponds. We ate at T-Carls once for breakfast & other than being a bit pricey, (although most restaurants in Sedona are pricey), the food was good & also the service. A short drive to Sedona finds you all kinds of things to do & the staff was very friendly & will give you an area map showing many different attractions. If you are not used to a sleep # bed, be prepared to be adjusting it until you are comfortable, usually takes the first night & hopefully you dont have back problems. Our second night sleep was better. We really enjoyed our stay here & it was a very relaxing weekend.

Traveler's tip

There is road construction going on right now between Sedona & the Resort so be prepared for possible delay’s.

good deal, but not a resort

the hotel is clean and in a good location to get to places easily with a short drive. i would not call it a resort however. the buildings are a bit dates, but the rooms were recently updated. all in all a good place to stay if you’re going to be out and about most of the time.

Beautiful Scenery

The hotel provided a beautiful room/suite with fabulous scenery. Our room overlooked the golf course. The ducks actually slept outside our room at night. The on-site restaurant was very good and breakfast on the patio was fabulous. We will definitely consider another stay at this resort. PS: The only downside was the lobby/entrance. It could use a face lift.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

There are multiple places for hiking, photo opportunities, shopping, and restaurants.

Very Impressed

The hotel is located in a very serene valley around a golf course which makes the views very enjoyable. My King room was the best I ever had in terms of size and comfort. I love the sleep number bed as I own one myself and in my opinion is the best! The staff was very helpful. All in all a wonderful experience and I would definitely come back.

Traveler's tip on dining

If you like Indian food then you’ll love the House of India on the West side. They do take out so that you can eat in your own room if you prefer. Many restaurants in Sedona are just wonderful.

would stay again

We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and quiet. The sleep number bed and garden tub were great. We had a nice view of the golf course, its ponds and ducks with the Sedona red rocks behind them - very pretty. We used room service and the restaurant - both very good.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

We rented an ATV for the whole day and explored the area - the mountains, cliff dwellings, historical sites. It was so much fun - highly recommend it.
