The Pits!
You get what you pay for! I needed a cheap hotel for a fast trip to Charleston. I booked this on-line and never saw the hotel. This hotel has recently been purchased and is being remodeled and owners were very nice. However, currently due to the forclosed businesses and unkept area, this place is scary. Since I could not get a refund I had to stay. I had to purchase Clorox to clean the bathroom due to mold. I was afraid my car would not have tires on it when I woke up. Very noisey all night long and just overall rundown. Find another hotel!
Charleston is a city with loads of things to do. The city has charm and character. Awesome food with something for everyone. Great for a romantic weekend as well as beaches for a fantastic family weekend.

Extremely poor condition. Will NOT go back!
Rooms were dirty, smelled like smoke. Door locks did not work properly and had to call for someone to pry open the door from the outside. After requesting a different room, I learned that the heat did not work in the room causing the fire alarm to sound continuously. A terrible experience...

Under Construction
you can tell the hotel was originally intended to be nice. years and the surrounding construction on the roads have caused some neglect to maintain. for a quick overnight stay it was good. people running hotel were very friendly. close enough to restaurants and other activities. But really just a place to sleep at night with tv and wifi.
