Dusit Dubai
Great Location, central to shopping and Business. Construction near the hotel, but thats the case for Dubai. Hotel upgraded on arrival to exec suite with access to club lounge for a nominal fee, well worth it. No proper gym, pool area (small) and lack of a Spa are the big minus for this hotel.

Great hotel
Thai management and staff are super kind and the hotel is very close to the Financial Center metro stop and several good restaurants.

awsome and convenient
I was going to Dubai for a week, and stayed at this hotel because Expedia had an awsome deal and considering every other 5star hotel in Dubai charged an arm and a leg. The staff are very friendly. The hotel is clean. The pool is nice on the roof, but a little outdated. The price for breakfast is ridiculous. There is a decent Leabanese rest. and a Johny Rocket a block away. If I was travelling to Dubai again, I would stay there.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
This hotel is probably the only one that offers free internet access. All other hotels charge you almost half your room rate for a days use. Also, the location of the Dusit is very convenient, its on the Sheik Zayed Road, close to the Dubai mall, and half way to other attractions.
