Would stay at Bay Watch again

The Giant Crab is the best buffett. Good Vibrations Show very good. Beach in Oct. was wonderful.

Great value!

Great value. got a fantastic rate and it was beachfront with balcony. Pools were awesome and lazy river too.

Go to Broadway on the Beach and take kids (or adults!) to Ripleys Acquarium. So neat. Dine at Planet Hollywood, Nascar Cafe, etc.

nice hotel, but has the same problem that most hotels have.very uncomfortable beds.

Not impressed

We stayed at this hotel nearly 5 years ago and felt like it was a great place to stay. They have not maintained it well at all. It is basically worn out...the carpet, the sheets, the decor. I must say the staff was very pleasant though!

Top Notch

My husband and I had a very good time there. The room was spacious and clean. The parking was convenient and the location was not too far from attractions. The room’s view was beautiful. It was more than we ever expected and for a very nice price. We plan on going back there next year. Top Notch, especially if you have a large family to bring with you. I highly recommend this hotel.

October, October, October! It is still beautiful weather but there aren’t any crowds.

Smokie Room

It won’t have been bad if I my room was non smoking free. My mom and I ended up in a smoking room. The beds were hard matress not that comfortable. You could hear everything outside our door so it was hard to sleep at nights. Above all the BayWatch Resort was a good hotel.

Everything I Expected

I was very pleased with the hotel: the staff, my room, the view, everything. I recommend it highly.

Great Location

Baywwatch is a "no frills" hotel room, it is clean, it has all you need in it, just not plush in any way, very basic furniture to meet your needs. The grounds and amenities are perfect for a family, enjoyed the lazy river & indoor pool. Would stay with my family, would consider else where for a romantic getaway for 2.

Lots of great shopping nearby, Barefoot Landing, Tanger Outlets all with-in a short 10 minute drive, oh yeah guys love that Bass Outdoor World, it is between the places we ladies love.

enjoyed the amintities

For the most part we enjoyed our stay. Extremely enjoyed the jacuzzi’s. Wish the parking garage would have been a little closer. The beds were a little small, but all and all we had a nice stay. The cleaning staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. We would stay again. Thanks!

Has plenty of pools and spas to enjoy, along with the beach being right at your feet to take afternoon walks.

Can’t wait to go back

We loved the hotel. We had a few problem upon arrival, but they were quickly resolved. We loved the jets in the tub. The outdoor bar with singing was great. We really had everything we needed for a good time right at the room.I will definitly return.

Wish we didn’t have to leave

We stayed on the 14th floor in a 2 bedroom oceanfront condo. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. The view and sounds of the ocean were wonderful without all of the noise from people that is often a problem on lower levels. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the layout was great. Check-in was easy, and there were no long waits for elevators. Our only complaint was the temperature of the outdoor pools and hot tubs - they were all too cold. We used an indoor pool and hot tub that were far more comfortable but would have rather been outside on such beautiful days. Also there was no band on Saturday night, and we would have liked to have had the entertainment. I believe rain was expected, but the weather was gorgeous.

The location is great for quiet, relaxation on the beach but is located quite a distance from the activities of Myrtle Beach and Broadway at the Beach.

The Hotel is a dump.

I was very disappoint with my stay at the hotel. The room is very run down. The best part of my stay was the view from my room. I recommend that nobody stays at this hotel.

Great Hotel for the Money

By far the best price of anything else available, and were very pleased with the room and amenities. Stayed in a 2 bedroom oceanfront room-very spacious and stocked. Our only complaint was that you are not able to take a luggage rack to haul your stuff to the room, instead must be done by a bellman. It was nice, but I would prefer to have the option to take my things up myself.

good value for ocean front

This was the first time we stayed at Bay Watch. We enjoyed our stay and would probably go back. It was nice being on the beach. The beds were comfy and the room was really nice. Great view of the ocean too. It was great to have so much room and a little kitchen, too. The only downside was that when we arrived in the lobby, there was a large group of teens/college students right in the doorway, which made us a little leary about the noise level. It turned out ok because we didn’t even hear them. All in all, it was a good stay and we will probably return again. It was a good value to have a great ocean front view and plenty of room.

Great place to stay with kids

We had a great time at Bay WATCH, We had a 6 year old that loved all the pools. We had a great view of the ocean and plenty of room. The only negative is the parking. We parked on an upper deck so it would not be so crowded and our truck was side swiped. We never found out who did it so maybe they should have security camers in the parking decks.

Not Impressed!

When we booked our three nights stay at Bay Watch Resort through Expedia, we were expecting that the room and sheets were at least clean based on the price we paid. However, the carpet was not clean (not vacuum) and the sheets were probably not clean as well because smell smoking (even though we stayed on a non-smoking room). In addition, the housekeeping removed the towels everyday but never added new ones. So, by the time we left we had no extra towels. I would not recommend this hotel!

I was very impressed with the hotel location but not impressed with the hallways outside the room.

Very nice place to experience Myrtle Beach and at a GREAT price. I loved my stay at the Bay Watch Resort and hope to return.

Bring your own beach towels. The Resort’s beach towels must be checked out and look quite similar to regular towels.

We got a good deal on Expedia and this was our first trip to Myrtle Beach. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very hard and the pillows too firm. They gave us coupons for the breakfast buffet which made it a good deal. The breakfast was good. We enjoyed the hotel and may come back again.

Can’t Wait to Go Back

Very nice hotel for the price. Sooo many pools to choose from. Elevators could use updating. If you go on the weekend and want quiet request tower 1 or 2. We had tower 3 just above the outside bar with live music until midnight Friday and Saturday. The music didn’t bother the kids in the bedroom with the door closed though. Get the oceanfront room, awesome view!!!

Good place if you get a value price

The only complaints I have about the hotel deal with the service. There are ALWAYS long lines at the main desk, and that is where you have to get everything-even the pool towels. Follow up service is not as good. For example one day I just needed towels and no service. I did not get the towels until 6, they left the old towels in the bathroom and just put the new ones on the bed. They are very serious about the parking situation. I took longer than I expected to unpack, and got a "ticket" on my car saying it would be towed if not removed in 15 minutes. I’m not sure I would pay full price for the room but it was definitely worth the expedia price I paid.

Original Benjamin’s buffet is the best on the strand. A trip to Calabash is worth it for Beck’s seafood and the Callahan’s Gift shop, especially if you are a Christmas decorating freak like I am.

Great place to stay. Very spacious rooms, lots of pools/spas and wonderful beach. Definitely going back.

Wonderful Place To Stay

I took my children and grandchildren for a short vacation. We decided to stay here because of the excellent prices we received through Expedia. We thought the resort sounded great and we were not disappointed in any way. We had a 2 bedroom oceanfront condo and there was so much room for us. We were not crowded in any way. There were 6 of us and we could have easily adjusted if we had brought more people. We had 2 beds in each bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living room. Everything was very nice and we were very happy with our choice of hotels. There is a band that played outdoors at the bar every night that we were there. They were great. We could sit on the balcony of our room and we could hear and see the band. My daughter and her husband actually danced on the balcony. There are many pools and hot tubs here for everyone to enjoy. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is a great place to take the family.
