Above Average
We stayed there for 4 nites in September 2009. The hotel was clean, the service was friendly and most everyone spoke english. The room was small by American standards and by other standards of hotels we stayed at in France (8X8). You could not tell from the pictures. Of course we are talking about Paris so there is a premium on space. In addition there was a charge for everything...TV, breakfast in the morning (although the hotel advertised breakfast available in the morning the small print said there was a $20 euro charge for this), no free coffee in the room, etc. These are all things that we did find in our rooms in Nice and Caen during our trip. Other than that this was hotel was fine.
Traveler's tip on dining
At this particular time the dollar is worth 60 cents against the Euro making everything very expensive. Across the street is a wonderful bakery where you can buy fairly inexpensively Breakfast pastries, quiche, etc. In addition ther is an Eds grocery store also across the street and there you can buy snack and small meal items very inexpensively as well.

Id like to go back again.
Overall, very happy with our stay. The concierge at the reception desk (Sultana)was her name, had been extremely helpful in providing us with a good tour operator in going to Versailles and our shuttle service to the airport. She also pointed out to us that we could walk along the Left Bank of the River Seine to go to the Notre Dame Cathedral. And it was a such a breeze to have done so. We really enjoyed it. hf
You can take your picnic baskets, bike riding and watch the boats on the Left bank of the River Seine going to the Notre Dame Cathedral.

an OK hotel...
This hotel was nice, staff extremely helpful. However, the rooms were very small. Though well kept, there was hardly any room to move around in a double. Additionally, our AC didnt work. We werent able to connect to their wifi. Just not worth it overall, unless you can afford to be alone in the room. Neighborhood was alright. Not as bustling as I expected, however.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
All the shops were closed by 7 pm. If you want quaint and quiet, this is it. If not, look elsewhere. There was 1 pub on the corner, everything else is a good walk away.
