Good service but, not impressed with rooms
The service at this hotel was good. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was nice. However, the rooms had very old furniture. The bathrooms looked like they were built in the ’50’s and the overall feel of the place was old. It seems like they have not updated anything in the rooms for decades. I would not stay there again.

A great spot for relaxing
I really enjoyed my stay. Owners(family run) and staff very pleasant. Good full breakfast included. Hotel a little ’worn’ but picturesque Austrian Chalet)and comfortable. Air conditioner old and noisy made sleeping difficult and hot tub not working well. Nice outdoor pool.Country location between Stowe and Smugglers Notch serves well for sightseeing and peaceful relaxation.

Try tea or dinner at the nearby Trapp Family Tea room...wonderful food and service!( The best apfelstrudel ever!)

Perfect Choice in Stowe
We were very pleased with this hotel for our two day getaway to Stowe VT. Our room was huge with access to the main hall-and another door to a balcony area with seating-This hotel had everything-nice outdoor pool-gazebo-hot tub-paddle tennis court-game room-ping pong-bikes to borrow-and a full breakfast served in the cosy bottom floor cafe! The Stowe Rec trail was near this hotel so we could ride each morning from there fast! Nice-well kept grounds also!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
We brought our own bikes with us-but we could have easliy just borrowed one of the many they had at this hotel for guest use. Pie Casa had yummy pizza-Grandview winery taste tasting and shop was enjoyable too!
