Heat - not there
I know this is a old hotel, and hard to maintain the blend between hot and cold, but this is Milwaukee. It SNOWED about 6 inches, so it was cold, but we could NOT get the heat to kick in. We gave up, stayed under the covers and the room stayed at about 67. The next morning, we were told, oh maybe because we had to turn the air on when it got so hot, that the heat cant be turned back on. It kind of explains the plain ol air that was moving around, but it would have been nice to have been told upfront. Overall, since it is so close to attractions and downtown stuff, I would still stay there again.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
In the summer, you can walk to the lakefront, museums and Summerfest.
