Reasonable hotel, but check others first
This hotel was an acceptable hotel, but I would probably not go back. 1) It was a little too far out of town. The taxi ride into town was 15RMB, not really that much. But after touring all day we didn’t have the energy to hop in a taxi to go; but we WOULD have walked. I recommend hotels downtown next to the bell tower. More activity, shops, etc. 2) The buffet meals were expensive and only so-so. 3) The pool was cold. I swam, but my wife would not.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Local Guides at the TerraCotta Warriors to the Hot-Springs, etc. are well worth their cost. They give tons of historical information. Depending how busy they are they will bargain. We paid 100RMB at TerraCotta Warriors, and 50RMB at the hot springs.

Very enjoyable stay
disappointed that I had to pay extra for internet service , but other than that I was extremely satisfied with my stay at Jianguo
