This hotel was a fabulous Italian dream!
This hotel was absolutely perfect! Especially in comparison to many other places that other travelers we met told us about. The service was great, with the most accommodating and extremely helpful staff. Wonderful spacious rooms with so much privacy and great air conditioning. And it was hot in Florence that week! It was right across the street from a restaurant that was wonderful; we had it recommended by other Americans. And the location was close to everything; we were able to walk everywhere from our hotel. We spent our time there as if in a beautiful dream. We hope to go back again. We have recommended it to all our friends.

Pure Luxury in a wonderful location!!
When we arrived at the hotel, we were promptly greeted in the foyer by Antonella!! She was very nice and warm and took us immediately to our suite. We felt like we were staying in a castle when we arrived there. Very warm, beautiful and comfortable. I will DEFINITELY be staying there again on my next trip to Florence and I absolutely can’t wait!!
Traveler's tip on shopping
This hotel is located in a very convenient part of Florence. Walking distance to many of the historic sites as well as the finest shopping around. Many excellent restaurants right around as well.

Excellent
We can’t speak highly enough about out stay at this hotel. The service was excellent, the Carlotta suite was as good as you can. We loved the location in Florence, being able to walk pretty much all over town with great ease. Lots of shops and restaurants right outside the front door. The room was clean and so was the new linen every day, they came in to turn down the bed and left some great chocolates. There was a patio on the top of the hotel that was open pretty much 24 hours a day where we could see the Florence skyline. The breakfast was very good with great coffee. There was also 24 hour self serve coffee available on the 2nd floor along with a billiards room that was kind of cool. A stones throw from the Ponte Vecchio as well. Really a perfect stay for us, and we are kind of high maintenence. Only regret was we didn’t stay longer. We will insist on the same room if we ever go back.
