Great Hotel on the Boston Waterfront
Within walking distance of great restaurants, the ICA, and the Boston Childrens Museum. Easy access to Silverline and downtown is just a short cab ride away. The hotel staff was helpful and courteous. Would definitely stay there again.
The Legal Test Kitchen (a spin off of the great Legal Seafood Co.) is a 5 minute walk from the Seaport Hotel and is fantastic. Also the Barking Crab is nearby.

Pretty cool place to stay in Boston near airport
I choose this place out of the blue because it was on our route out of the airport and was a less expensive option than some (but still not cheap) and we could avoid trying out our Garmin on rush hour Boston traffic by staying there after a 5:00 plane arrival. A spanking new gorgeous hotel next to the bay. My husband was a but grumpy about the price, but when they upgraded us to a beautifully appointed corner room with awesome view, king-sized bed plus separate sitting room (as they hadnt doubles I had requested) he was totally appeased. A extremely friendly and helpful porter advised us where to eat and we enjoyed a great dinner on the waterfront. Next morning we hung around enjoying breakfast from the little takeout cafe on the ground floor in our sitting room until we HAD to leave. Worth the bucks!

Will return here
We went to Boston and New England on a self organised fly drive in Oct 09. Finding a good hotel for the first 3 days of our visit was important to us.We were really impressed with the Seaport Hotel, location was just far enough from the main centre to be quiet and the hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. The Silver line station is just across the road with easy and safe access to the city. Its not cheap but if you avoid the weekend when the prices are high and rooms are scarce it is more affordable. Also book via Expedia or similar as the discounts are not offered directly by the hotel. We would go back.
The best breakfast in Boston has to be Panificios on Charles Street - excellent food and value for money. Take the Metro to Charles/MGH and head for Beacon Hill area its 300 yds from the Metro Station.
