decent hotel, may be improved
In general, this is a nice hotel Location is perfect with a terrific view overlooking the oldtown. Breakfasts are nice. People are helpful. However, my room wasn’t properly cleaned with dust here and there. For me, the bathroom and how it’s kept is exteremely important. The hotel failed in that regard.

Convenient, comfortable, a bit cramped but what a nice view.
Hotel Minerva is conveniently located near the center of town. The hotel is clean and well maintained, staff are pleasant and efficient. Desk staff speak sufficient English to be helpful. The Hotel offers a tasty and varied breakfast buffet. The only drawback was that my "double room for single occupancy" was small with narrow twin beds. Large windows in my room opened onto a splendid view of the City and this offset the lack of space. Perhaps they provide larger rooms for couples. It’s worth asking as the hotel overall is comfortable, convenient and congenial place to stay in the beautiful, ancient city of Siena.
