VT’s best
This was the best VT deal - 2 bedroom 2 bath condo with WB fireplace, full kitchen and cleaning service each day. The condo was updated and laid out well and the location perfect for leaf-peeking, shopping (although some of my favorite stores are gone from Manchester) or eating at good restaurants.

Beautiful place. I would go back there easily!
The hotel was well located and the service was good. Just did not like the approach at the restaurant where we had to share a table with other guests.

Nice condo, poor check in policy
After a beautiful drive up to central Vermont on October 11, 2009 we thought we might stop by and drop our things off at the condo. It was about 2:15 and we thought the unit might be ready. We were told check in was 4:00, which is ridiculous, and we should have some lunch. A couple of places were recommended at the village but both were mobbed with at leas a 45 minute wait. We drove around for miles and couldn’t find anywhere to eat. We wound up in Manchester at the Lazy Dawg cafe. One of the worst meals and service experiences of our lives. We got back to the Inn at Stratton at 3:45 and were told our room was not ready. I said check in is at 4:00 and it’s not ready? The desk clerk said check it is 4:30. We sat around and at 4:40 the room was ready. The condo was very nice with the exception of having no coffee or filters. What did they expect us to do bring a variety of filters since we didn’t know what kind of pot it was. We love Vermont and have been visiting for 20 years now however I can’t say we will be back to Stratton Mountain again.
