good review
if you are looking for "plush" this is not the hotel, HOWEVER, it was nice and clean, bed comfortable, rooms inside are nice. It is just an older hotel, but I had more ammentities than in some hotels that have cost me 3 Xs the price. I would recommend this to anyone if you smoke especially, as most of the hotels in Starkville are non-smoking and after driving for hours it was nice to relax, take a hot bath and relax. very very clean.

Not impressed
The desk clerks and employees were very nice and very helpful, but the room was just not clean. It seems to be an older hotel but that is no excuse for it to be dirty. Soap and water and do wonders. One of the sheets had a cigarette burn hole, should have been noticed when the bed was made. Would only go back if there was no where else to stay.

Friendly people and always willing to help out.
When we arrived, we had a problem accessing our room because the door stuck. That same night we got locked out of the room because the door knob broke. The hotel upgraded our room immediately for the inconvenience and we had no other problems for the rest of the 4 day stay.
