Excelent

I was there just a day and I like it so much... The only thing is when you walk it smells like eggs or something like that...

Not a good place to stay

Rented 3 rooms for family members. All smelled like mildew/old. Does not have a swimming pool. Rooms are very small - kitchenettes take up to much space. Restrooms were dirty - curtains had mildew.

Almost OK

This hotel was OK for short term stay but not for the long haul. There were no chairs in the room when I arrived. ( They did bring 1 solid and 1 not so stable chair upon request) There were only 2 place settings in a room requested for 4. Had to request more towels. On the bright side, the room was clean and pleasantly decorated. The staff was friendly and very accomodating. Overall, it was a good value for the price.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Went to Cedar Park for Bertram Flyer train ride. The hotel was very near to this attraction and was also near to many great restuarants. (A real bonus)

GREAT HOTEL 2STAY 4THE PRICE & COMFORT

I stayed in this hotel since 2003 when it was Microtel, and still going back many times since the change of ownership. This hotel still looks nice, clean, quiet and the rooms are great.

Dirty, smelly hotel

The hotel was difficult to find as it is hidden from the road. When I got there, I was disappointed to find that the hotel was dirty. The elevator didn’t work. The gym was pathetically small - smaller than a bedroom and only has 1 machine. My room was terribly smelly.

Great way to go!

We were there during the ROT Rally in May. Hotels were fairly booked up and we got a late start. I was pleasantly surprised when we got to the hotel. It was clean, the staff was friendly and we had a full kitchen as well as a nice room. The price, compared to what our friends paid for the same, or less, was pretty good, too. Easy in and out of town, lots to do close by and plenty of places to eat within min.

THere is a Main Event just up the service road from the hotel.

Great for the price

This was great for the price. I was surprised at the kitchenette in there with pans and dishes even. Would definitely stay there long-term.

Nice place to stay

I was happy with the room and the desk person was pleasant , I would stay again.

Location is good

This is not a hotel I would recommend if you are looking forward to lounging around, and we were disappointed when we requested housekeeping one day and it was refused becase we weren’t staying for a week +. However, it was very affordable and in a good departure point for many day trips. It is a surprisingly quick drive to the airport, attractions in downtown Austin, and UT... we even took a day trip to San Antonio!

It is a challenge to find at first- when you get off on the exit, keep going straight- it is hard to tell, but you are actualy on Research Blvd. Just a bit more down the way is an Alamo Drafthouse, which is always a lot of fun!

Think Twice!

Looks fine on the outside, but it’s really pretty gross. We were there for 3 long days. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the hallway reaked of smoke terribly. The couch in our room looked like it came straight out of a dumpster! It had so many nasty "mystery" stains on it that we had to pull the bedspread of the bed to cover it up! We couldn’t stand to look at it. YUCK. The kitched was very dirty , there was no way I was eating there.. I would never stay there again. My advise to others....MOVE ON!

Greeat Location. Only stayed one night but seemed to be set up very nicely for an extended stay. I will be back

If you just need a place to crash for the night...stay here. But if you are looking for a place to feel comfortable and enjoy...I’d look elsewhere.

It’s difficult to get enterance. Others are good for staying with good(low) price.

Great cheap hotel, room didn’t seem cheap at all

Hotel was very nice,a little tricky to find being my first time in texas. Definately go back there though

This place was as advertised, nothing really fancy, but all I needed. Good location and really nice people.

Second time stay

I like the hotel. They are nice and let me check in early. For the price, you can’t ask for better. They are really cool about letting pets (my dog) stay. Plus its in a quiet area, north of Austin. So I felt pretty safe! Definitely stay again!

WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

VERY NICE FOR THE PRICE.... ONLY THING IS WE ARE USED TO OUR TOP OF THE LINE TEMPERPEDIC SO NOTHING WILL FEEL AS GOOD AS OUR OWN BED AND WE ARE USED TO SLEEPING IN A KING AND WE GOT A QUEEN SO NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL.. ALSO BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS WE DID AND WE WERE GLAD.. OF COURSE THEY WERE TEMPERPEDIC PILLOW... A LITTLE PIECE OF OUR HEAVEN... ROOM WAS COZY AND USED INTERNET FOR FREE AND ENJOYED SMALL KITCHENTE ... ONLY THING NO VENTS IN SHOWER SO YOU ARE HOT IN THERE AND MIRRORS ARE FOGGY NO VENTILATION.....WE WOULD DEFINETLY GO STAY THERE AGAIN....

Better than some

My overall biggest complaint is the fact that a bikers rally was going on during the weekend of our stay and this was the cheapest hotel at double the original cost! You could hear a lot of outside noise and the room was bright and shiny, even with the window coverings drawn which I guess wouldn’t matter if you were staying on business because you would be up with everyone else. The shower put out barely any water, tiny towels, and my husband said the coffee was terrible. The bed was not very comfortable & you might want to bring your own pillow. However, it did have everything you would need if you were staying on business, so I guess you give up some things to get others. It stayed at a decent temperature and the free wi-fi was helpful.

You are several miles from town, which in Austin is a big deal if you are in a hurry to get somewhere. So, don’t get in a hurry and you will be fine!

stale air, slow elevator, hard mattress

Staying in the room I had for an extended period of time would be difficult. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, the air quality was nauseating, and the elevator unreliable. Staff was very friendly. Once I finally got connected to the wireless network, the speed was very decent.

Not impressing

The bad thing about this hotel is that you feel smell of cigarette in the aisle even if you are in a nonsmoking room. And its address is hard to find since there is not a good sign for hotel.

A good visit

Our stay was fine. The staff were helpful in suggesting places to explore outside the city of Austin. Seemed central to a variety of things, eating places, shopping, country side, lakes, caves, parks, and golf. Quiet location.

Good Value

New place in NW part of Austin, handy to Avery Ranch area. Room very clean but A/C unit could be a little more quiet.

Try ZTejas on Parmer about 10 minutes NW of hotel on Parmer for SW cuisine.

Good Value

My room had a kitchenette with stove, full refrig and complete utensils for about half the price of the other long term hotels.

Unpleasant Odor

The room had a very unpleasant odor which greeted me each time I opened the door. It stunk!
