ResortQuest Rentals at Surfside Resort

Customer service is very bad. No response when reported problem with the floor tiles with moisture.

We were so excited about the trip. After spending so much money, we did not get any service. We had issue with the tiles and customer service did not bother to address it. Tiles were wet as if water is leaking. My kids were about to fall few times. Hotel management did nothing. Location was good. beach was good. Hotel is bad. They did not even provide free chairs in the beach like other hotels there.

OK hotel

This was a clean hotel. One instance that was strange was that we ran out of toilet paper and the front desk told us that we needed to bring our own, apparently that person didn’t know the rules. We had a room right by the elevators which was a bit noisy at night, however the view was amazing. I think it must have been spring break for high school kids which was a bit annoying at times due to the fact a lot of them were drinking, yelling, and screaming late at night.

Good time had by all

Hotel was in great location. Rooms were spacious and clean. The only negative was the parking for check-in and check-out. It was a circle roundabout one way direction and if you were just wanted to go to the parking deck you still had to drive through the roundabout to get to parking deck. There should be a separate entrance from check-in.

Absolutely the nicest Condo ever!

I was quite impressed to find this wonderful Condo even nicer than it looked on the website. Floor to ceiling sliding glass doors throughout to bring in the ocean sound and breeze was an added delight. Clean, clean, clean. What an enjoyable trip.

I was not a seasoned Condo traveler and wasn’t prepared to bring items such as paper towels, extra trash bags, coffee filters, shampoo... Now I know when I rent a Condo, I need to bring these things.

Joe’s Crab Shack on Hwy 98 is the greatest!! Awesome food and entertainment. Fun for the whole family as it is family oriented!!!

Great location

The location is the main reason for the higher price of this hotel. It’s got a pier streching over the main road that leads to the beach. It’s minutes from the outlets and resturants. The room accomodations in my opinion we’re average-nothing that would blow your mind. My balcony overlooked a tennis court and other hotels-not the water. Overall, it was a good experience.

PRICE TO HIGH FOR ROOM

I’ve stayed at this resort twice, the first stay was very satisfactory, pool/gulf view, large condo. The last stay, the condo was very small and not much of a view. Next time I will request a pool/gulf view room.

WOUNDERFUL

Yes myself and my husband, my cousin Renee and her husband,had the time of are life, it was just fabulous, the surfside condo, we were in the penthouse on the 16th floor,it was so so worth what we paid, pictures dont even justify the real resort, it was just great the swimming pool, hot tubs, the walk way to get to the beach , the beach was greattttttttt, i just want to go back for more, i give this trip a 10 on a scale 1-10!!!

The restaurants was just all up and down the strip, we eat so good, we went to Crab Trap, had the best seafood in the word, it was so good.

Tiny and hot- good luck on getting service

Our room, while quite clean, was tiny and the air conditioning could not get to a comfortable temperature. You could blame the AC problem on the summer heat, but every other hotel room I have stayed in would get frigid, but not this one. There was no room service available, and when we called down to ask for extra pillows, we were told there were none available. Have I mentioned the room was tiny? It was the smallest I have ever stayed in, including the place we stayed in downtown Glasgow, Scotland. I am used to more comfort from a Budget hotel, much less a resort-type hotel. The one above-average feature was the shower. Although it was also small, it had a great shower head and the tile was appealing. NOT recommended.

Well above our expectations!

Our 2br/2bt condo was stocked with a full kitchen-dishes, silverware, dishwasher, blender, mircowave, coffee pot, etc. Washer/dryer with Tide was a wonderful surprise! Comfortable beds, very spacious layout, nice restuarant and bar, helpful staff, secure parking. All the comforts of home. This is where we will stay in the future!

Buster’s is a local favorite, not well-known by tourists, in walking distance from Surfside. Excellent seafood and cajun food. Reasonable prices.

Didn’t want to leave

we had the most amazing time and had one of the best rooms location in the hotel. the few disappointments with the hotel didn’t ruin the overall experience. The hotel has very limited amenities for the hotel itself and for the rooms. The hotel staff were friendly but not very helpful or knowledgeable of the area. Do your own research, go prepared and you will have a wonderful time.

Southern Star Dolphin cruise was the best. Just Chute Me parasailing, highly recommend Sun Quest dinner cruises - very nice

Would definitely return

Although check-in took a little longer than 1/2 hour due to the line, I was quite pleased with the facility and with the staff I encountered. The private beach and access to the outlet mall (less than a mile) were selling points for me. The condo and hotel were well kept and everything was in working order. My daughter and I would definitely return to Surfside Resort. It is a great place to relax and unwind.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our lunch poolside. The food was great. The hotel restaurant serves delicious food as well. Away from the complex we found Pompano Joe’s to be a great place to eat, right on the beach and food was very enjoyable.
