Hey, I read the great reviews on this place and must say it is the nicest place I have ever stayed at. We will probably return at least every other year.

It is easy and enjoyable to take the vans that traverse the length of the highway from Cancun to Tulum

Nice place
We had a wonderful time. When we arrived we were ugraded to Barcello Tropical Hotel, which was very nice. Their pools are large and clean, there are so many activities to do, such as dancing, Spanish lessons, volleyball, and others, and it never feels crowded. It tooks us just a day or two to get used to their food but the buffet had so many choices that we always could find something we liked. Not impressed with the specialty restaurants (we got to go to 5 restaurants during our 8 night stay), it seemed like they went a little bit overboard at trying to make them "upscale". Nightly shows at two theatres were excellent and the staff was always friendly. Couldn’t have asked for more.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Make sure to see Chitzen-Itza and Tulum. Xpu-Ha eco park was fun too, their evening dancing show was excellent!
