Functional, quiet and comfortable
A great place to stay if you have to be in Oakland. The room was a bit small, but very clean and quiet. The immediate area was safe. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and included made-to-order omelets.

Just OK
This hotel is in a great location, near many Oakland attractions. The neighborhood was safe and had a lot of great restaurants in all price ranges. The on-site parking was very helpful. The rooms are very simple and no-frills...and could be cleaner.
