this place has it all
Each morning there was a great breakfast. Nice happy hour in the afternoon.around the corner from the telluride gondola, the San Sofia has the best location!Only a block from great restaurants!We would totally stay here again. Nice staff on duty.

Shockingly awesome
This pristine little place is perfect. It’s close to the gondola and lift 8--like 50 feet away. It’s close to all the best restaurants. Their staff is awesome. And the best the was every morning they had free breakfast for everyone--no not some ’continental’ breakfast you’d expect from a chain hotel, but a truly amazing spread. It was better than what I’ve paid for at 5-star hotels. Not only that but there’s also a free happy hour with local wines, beers, cheeses, etc. Plus very easy to make friends there with other guests. Overall--one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed.

Elegant Bed-and-Breakfast Inn
The room was comfortable, the location was convenient, the staff was cordial, and the gourmet breakfast and complimentary happy hour were great.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Go in the off-season between the summer festivals and the winter skiing. The room rate was reasonable and the fall colors were fantastic when we were there in early October.
