NO COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST
The breakfast there sucked. What made it so bad was the fact that we had no mode of transportation to leave and get breakfast so we had to eat there. Online and in the notebook in the hotel room it specifically stated, "complementary breakfast." We get downstairs and the lady asks us if we are with a group or we have a coupon...I was like no..and she said well there is no free breakfast. We ended up having to pay $36 for breakfast which was including our $6 tip...the french toast was horrible and the sausage was hard..We had to eat snacks we had brought for the rest of the trip because we couldnt afford that every morning for a week!!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Dont take a taxi if at all possible!! They charged us $40 one night for a 15 minute one way ride to our hotel! Then the next night the same cab company charged us $60 for the same trip!! Ridiculous!!!

Convenience is Key!
The Elizabeth Renaissance hotel is convenient for business or travel. This particular trip we went to spend a few days in NYC, but decided to stay in NJ and commute in. The Renasissance Hotel shuttle bus was like clockwork and was ready to take us to the airport right when we were ready to catch the train. The staff was friendly and courteous, the room was great, and amenities abound. Sure, the lack of a free continental breakfast can be disappointing at times and the restaurant alternative is expensive, but the quality was good and it was still convenient. You can even order from your room! All in all, an excellent hotel for a great price.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If you want to go into NYC via PATH, it might be worth it to drive from the hotel to Newark Penn Station. Youd spend more money to park in two locations (hotel AND train station), but youd save more by not riding 1 mile on NJTransit (from Airport to Penn Station) for nearly $8 per person.

lot of noise
The hotel is under remodelation and there is a lot of noise at very early in the morning. wer stayed for one week they did not make the bed once and at the hall you can see the room services for 2 or three days. Until they finish the remodeling is not recomended.
