Good Value

Hotels was reasonably priced and a good value. The rooms aren’t really suites, but they are slighly larger than a typical hotel room.

Had a great time

We were visiting DC with my family and this hotel worked out great. It was clean, the staff was nice, and the price was good. Was about 20 miles out from the city but the metro station was only a few miles away. Also plenty of restaurants in the area.

Nice hotel in Chantilly Va

Good location and free breakfast

The hotel was in a good location for us and there were restaurants close by. We landed at BWI which was a little further than we wanted to drive but left from Reagan National, which is only 20 minutes away. Amenties were good and it was nice to have a free breakfast even if you had to make most of it yourself. At least it was free! Not a bad place at all.

Nice place to stay

Hotel is conveniently located near Washington DC and major highways. Plenty of great restaurants near by. Staff was very courteous, helped with directions.

Not bad for the price

The service was great, but the hotel seems a bit "tired." The waffle bar is great, but the crowd at breakfast necessitated a 20-minute wait in line to make the waffles. The harried staff were hard-pressed to keep up with the hungry mob.

Unsatisfactory experience

Found feces in room under desk area upon arrival. water temp low on 3rd floor

Great at first...but I probably would not return

The hotel itself was pretty nice, and the front desk and maid staff were polite and courteous. In the room it said breakfast went until 10:00. We went down at 8:45 and there was barely any food left. There was a line of people in front of us, and the staff was taking away what remaining food there was. At 8:50 my fiancee told the staff that there was no waffle mix left. She rolled her eyes at him and kept walking. As she neared the breakfast stock room, he questioned her again. She irritatedly replied back that breakfast was closed. It was only 8:50, and in the room it said breakfast went until 10:00. Then someone pointed out the sign in the breakfast area-Breakfast ends at 9:00. But we were there at 8:45 and all that was left to eat was plain bagels-she had even taken the cereal off the counter by that time. There were also 2 dishes which had contained sausage and eggs. I didn’t see anyone with either of these 2 items, which tells me they were gone before we even got down there. Several people complained about the lack of food, and the fact that staff continued to remove food from the counter while people were still in line. Even worse, it was the manager who told staff to get the area cleaned up at 8:50-right in the middle of people getting breakfast. He heard the people complaining, and did nothing. He saw her giving dirty looks to every person who questioned her, and ignoring requests to bring out more food prior to 9:00. He just kept telling her to get it cleaned up.

Can’t wait to go back!

This was our 1st time staying at the Comfort Suites Chantilly. We picked it because it is near Dulles Airport, and the hotel offered free shuttle to and from. It was easy to find, the rooms were super nice, and we had fun at the new asian market which is right across the road. The beds are comfy, and we have no complaints. The price was way cheaper than the other hotels nearby too. We’ll be back the next time we fly out of IAD.

The Lotte Market which features all kinds of asian food is SO fun to explore. It’s huge!

Would Definitely Return!

Although initially there was a mix up on the type of room we had originally reserved, the reception desk personnel straightened it out and we enjoyed our stay there very much. A great breakfast every morning (free), room kept clean, free and easy to use wireless internet-very satisfactory hotel experience.

We drove to the nearby Metro, parked and rode the train into D.C. Very convenient.

Great Stay

I would definitely stay here again. Great hotel, excellent price, friendly staff and nice free breakfast. Small pool but I dont swim so no complaints with that. Highly Recommended!

Great value if you don’t mind shuttling back and forth

My wife & I stayed there during the Inauguration. Most of the staff seemed like we were a bother to them. Please note: The hotel only offers shuttle service to Dulles airport. After the Inaugural ceremonies we were detoured to Reagan National Airport, and the hotel refused to pick us up. There was one staff member from Turkey who was awesome on the other days that we stayed there. If you don’t mind the hassle of back and forth, this would be a great place to stay.

Decent hotel for the price

Stayed in the hotel for a business trip and choose this hotel because of the non-smoking policy. The room was clean, however the wallpaper was peeling off the wall, the phone didn’t work, neither did the lone treadmill - and they had groups of people loitering around the front smoking in the morning and evening. On the good side, the breakfast was decent. The beds were comfortable, the location was convenient and very accessible to everything and the pool was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free internet and business services where great.

Be flexible in your demands for accommodations. The hotel is a good price for the area and the availability of eateries and entertainment in the area make up for the shortcomings of the hotel.

Great hotel with attention to detail

I don;t think there is a single negative thing I can say about this hotel! The reception was nice and helpful, the lobby and breakfast area was very cozy and welcoming. We loved the room, it was quite large and the price we got, by the way was great. The wireless internet worked great and there were more channels on the TV than in most hotel rooms. As an ex-hotel-room-cleaner I also found the bathroom very clean (and spacious BTW) and I loved the way they folded the towels (and there were many extras), its those little details that get me! The hotel is about a half hour from downtown DC, watch out though for the traffic coming from and going to DC during the week (4-7pm)... The breakfasts were great. There is 24 hr coffee in the lobby and coffee machines (and microwaves) in the rooms which was much appreciated!

Also it is very close to numerous restaurants such as IHOP, Ruby Tuesday, Taco Bell etc, really, within walking distance (and there is a CVS around the corner).

Very comfy

Nice, quiet comfortable hotel. I didn’t get a chance to eat their breakfast, but the room itself was nice & cozy.

Very convenient

We were doing a trade show at the Expo Center and ths hotel was very close to that as well as many restaurants and other ammenities we needed. Had a decent breakfast as well. Very pleased with our stay.

Helpful Service

When I entered my room it was extremely disappointing for me. Room smelled and both beds looked lumpy/lots of stains on bedcover. The air condition was on but after sitting in the room for two hours I remain unhappy because, working in the medical field, it reminded me of "urine". Therefore the 1st room rated a "2". Mgmnt was extremely apologetic and very helpful in finding me another room...for that I was very grateful and the second room was in MUCH BETTER condition/layout was also better that it made my night more enjoyable. Mgmnt would get a "5" rate as well as the front desk service that night.

comfort, convenience to airport

surprisingly good customer service, clean, comfortable, spacious room, 10 minutes to dulles airport. half-hour in non-rush hour to D.C. free parking, good free breakfast, very reasonable rates.

air and space museum in chantilly is 5 minutes away. reston town center is about 10 minutes away off the toll road.
