Tryp by the beach in Cadiz
You can not beat the location. The front desk clerk was kind but somewhat overworked as he was the only one trying to help multiple people. Be SURE to confirm ahead of time that you are confirmed for a non-smoking (or smoking) room before you arrive. After 30+ hours of travel I discovered that they had given away my non-smoking room and had put me on a smoking floor. The property itself is not in dire need of repair but stepping inside reveals an interior that would seem better suited for a three star hotel. If you want a great location and only really need the hotel to grab a few hour’s sleep, then this hotel is just fine --again, check that your reservation’s smoking preference has been honored before arrival. If you are looking for a high-end property with a more upscale ambiance, then look elsewhere.

Great location and nice hotel - but no free breakfast
I liked everything about the hotel except the $20 continental breakfast we got charged on check out. There were no prices listed and the set up was similar to other Spanish hotels so we (wrongly) assumed it was free. It wasn’t and it was expensive! It was very misleading - no menu, no prices listed, no waiters, just a person asking our room number which is very similar to other euro free breakfast. I am writing the hotel directly to complain further - I will post an update if they refund us...
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
It is really easy to get around using the Cadiz bus system - definitely plan on doing that and avoiding cabs or rental cars.

Great location!
Great spot. We enjoyed the hotel and Cadiz! The beach is spectacular- can’t wait to return.

There is a Red city tour bus and a green one- Take the green one!
