Residence Ann Arbor by Marriott: Good choice
Difficult to find and enter via State Street, but once there, very nice and "human sized" collection of rooms. Very friendly customer service representative at the main desk. Not enough seating in the breakfast area on Sunday morning.

Great location.
Stayed at hotel with relatives to attend U-Mich football game. Excellent location to get to stadium and get around Ann Arbor. Very nice complementary breakfast and helpful staff.
