Good choice if everything else is booked
Breakfast is ok, room is as small as it gets, if you only plan to go to the hotel to sleep and really expect nothing more it is ok. Otherwise do go somewhere else.

Clean and close
This quaint hotel is located right on the River Gare, just 5 minute walking distance from the Grotto. The staff was friendly and spoke English, but did not seem very knowledgeable about the area attractions. We were interested in going to the "baths" but they did not seem to know much about it. The room was small but comfortable. TV works, but programs are all in French. Bathroom was extremely small; had to step out to dress. The double bed was hard and lumpy. Restaurant served excellent, authentic French food, especially the soups. But we would probably opt for a different hotel next time.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
If possible, plan to visit Lourdes between April 1st and October 1st. We were there in March when most of the attractions were still closed. There were no crowds, and we saw the Grotto, baths, and cathedral, but many other attractions were not yet open. The "Way of the Cross" is a difficult walk, but the view at the top is definitely worth the effort!
