I have already told several family members that travel to SLC on a regular basis about this hotel.
I was beyond pleasently surprised with the overall appearance and services/ameneties that this hotel offered. I was needing a hotel to stay at in order to catch a plane early the next morning for my mothers funeral in Michigan. I was traveling with a 4 yr old and having the free video library was a huge blessing to keep her entertained. The location is fantastic...close to a variety of stores and restuarants. Two thumbs up for my stay...and I would stay here again!

Candlewood Suites Salt Lake City - Fort Union
This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel. The A/C unit in my room was a little noisy and came of frequently but that is my only complaint. It would also be nice if they updated the internet service to a wireless service. I will stay here again when I visit Salt Lake.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
From this location it is an easy and short drive up into the mountains. It only takes about 1/2 hour to get to Park City. The value of this hotel is pretty high in my book.
