Overall experience was mixed
We had 2 reservation: 1. In 216: The room was on the ground floor, in a corner, the only room on the ground fl. It smells bad, it was dirty. 2. In 240: We got a nicer room on floor 5, but the only elevator was not working. The bathroom was very nice but leaks. The phone did not work. It was dusty, looked like it had not been used for a while.
Traveler's tip
The location was convenient for us, it’s near Gare du Nord where we can catch the trains to London and CDG airport; otherwise we would not go back to this hotel.

Bad Neighborhood for Tourists
The hotel is in an unpleasant neighborhood for tourists. Too many onlookers on the streets. The room was small but nice and clean.

Great place to stay in Paris
We liked this hotel. We particularly liked the free internet access, it was easy for us to check our flights before we left. It was also within a few minute walking distance to the train to the airport, which is about a 30 minute ride. It was within a 10-15 minute walk to the Sacre Couer. This was one of our favorite parts of Paris and because it was close to the hotel we went there three times while in Paris.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Stock up on water at the grocery store on the corner next to the metro entrance. Pick one up in the morning, you’ll be glad you aren’t spending three times as much at the tourists traps when you are really thirsty.
