Review of Ramada Inn Tuscaloosa
When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that my room with 2 doubles had been double booked and that there were no more rooms with doubles. I was given an upgraded suite with a king size bed and a pull out couch. The room was absolutely horrible, as were all of the common areas of the hotel. I am positive that there have not been any upgrades made to this hotel since the 1970s. There is no elevator in the hotel. There are only 2 icemakers and the one on the end of the hotel where I was staying was out of order and covered in calcium deposits. The carpet and the bedding smelled like feet. The bathroom stunk of mildew. There were no bed linens for the pull out couch, which required another trip up and down the stairs. This hotel should be rated as no stars, not 2.

I would stay here again.
The hotel staff was super nice. Morning bfast was good. Only one complaint. No elevator. I was traveling with two children, ages 3 and 1. Requested crib. Knew I had small children and still placed me on the second floor. This was difficult with no elevator. Next time I will request ground floor room.

Bad choice from the gitgo
I arrived at the hotel to check in at 12:30. Check in was at 3:00. Went to lunch returned at 3:00 did not have a room ready. Fellow travelor had his room ready went to his room to wait. Asked to be called when room was ready. At 3:45 went to front desk, no note to be called, no room ready. Asked for manager, person was on property but could not be reached. Demanded to see the property manager or call Expedia. Suddenly a room was available, upstairs no elevator. When checking out, new crew thought the situation was laughable. Had an event to attend which caused me to be late because I couldnt get into a room.
