Excellent location, tasteful furniture and decor, and quiet rooms. Pleasant and helpful staff members.

Great hotel, central location.
I chose this hotel because of its location. The hotel itself is expertly run and was one of the best in terms of service and style. The decor is beautiful and restful and the spa is fantastic (though I would bring my own flip-flops instead of using the hotel slippers which are for really big feet and are hard to walk in!) If you decide to stay here make the pool/whirlpool/steam room your first stop and don’t do as I did and wait for my last night. Another caveat: the hotel is very close to the Alster (lake) 5-7 minute walk. This was a nice plus since there were also public restrooms and cafes -try the Literaturhaus cafe -on the Alster and it’s a great place for a walk or an early morning run (The larger part of the Alster is just under 5 miles around.) There’s also a gym in the hotel which looked nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Use the glasses in the bathroom to make your morning coffee or tea - they’re bigger than the china cups that come with the in-room coffee/tea service.

Exquisite Hotel
The Park Hyatt in Hamburg is an absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff were very accommodating and courteous, the room was spacious, and the bathroom was a dream. It is located in the premier shopping district, and only two blocks from the Central Station, which makes getting around Hamburg very easy.
