Very lovely hotel
The Hotel Rotary Geneva is a beautiful place, located close to the rail and bus stations as well as being just across the bridge from old Geneva. Our room was very lovely as was the rest of the hotel, though it’s hard to tell when you arrive at the front. It appears quite small from the outside, but it isn’t. We didn’t eat at the upstairs restaurant, but enjoyed a breakfast buffet they serve in the lower level of the hotel. The only thing we were unhappy with was the price for breakfast buffet which we thought was quite expensive, though selections of fruits, breads, yogurts, cereals and eggs were very good. The staff was extremely friendly and service was good. They offer much to make your stay a pleasant one, including robes and slippers in your rooms.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
We were able to walk along the lake and into old Geneva for site-seeing. The rail and bus lines are just a few blocks walk from the hotel and the hotel gives complimentary passes to use during your stay. The location is perfect for travelers who like to see a lot without having to rent a car to do it.
