Drop the City View item
I loved the room and enjoyed everything about my stay. It just irked me that the booking process kept highlighting the "City View" extra. I was on the fifth floor with a great view of the side of the building next door.

A Memphis Best
The hotel was immaculate and the staff both professional and very couteous. They were very welcoming when we arrived and helpful during our stay. The hotel is close to the riverfront and has doorfront access to the local trolley for tranportation. I would highly recommend the Marriot for business or pleasure
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
There is a local "entertainment" booklet that gives discounts on some of the best restaurants, museums, etc. We were able to enjoy some of the best restaurants in town with a "2 for 1 coupon" or major discount. "Sauces" is a must together with the Civil Rights Museum.

A wonderful Hotel! Just two minor dissapointments, very minor.
First thing I think of is how comfortable the beds were. It was heaven. The hotel is very clean, very nice. The employees are very nice. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Memphis. Two small dissapointments: 1. having to pay for use of internet on computers 2. We were supposed to get 4 free movie tickets with our reservations, and they forgot to give them to us, and we didn’t remember until it was too late.

B B Kings is awesome! The barbeque is the best. The live blues is great, my husband and I had a nice slow dance. Definately recommend it.
